For more information on these National German paramotor competitions, you can go to the DULV

DULV (Deutscher Ultraleichtflug Verband*) is the organization that issues pilot's licenses, aircraft approvals and certifications.
* German Ultralight Association

Because of the strict German regulations, only the Fresh Breeze, Bütner, Pago Jet and Krampen paramotors, are legal to fly in this country. Therefore, no other paramotor brands are authorized at the National German paramotor competitions.

To be approved by DULV, the paramotor companies have to :

- Submit a plan and drawing of their complete system

- Pass climbing tests

- Pass material strength tests

- Pass noise tests

- Prove that the complete system has flown for 100 hours without major problems

And a few more things...

In Germany, there are similar regulations for paragliders, hangliders and ultralights.
