SWING's paramotor brand POWERPLAY has developed the SCORPIO, the new reflex wing,
and tested it according to the most exacting of considerations.

In charge of this was multiple German champion and record holder Peter Schulz, who followed every step of development extremely carefully and thus had considerable input into the development of the SCORPIO.

 The Scorpio can be launched perfectly even in 0-wind or variable wind because it has little tendency to overshoot.
The pilot must hold the canopy slightly at its vertex.

It can be flown easily and very dynamically.

Fuel economy and its high speed range make the sporty Scorpio suitable for all advanced recreational pilots who enjoy flying cross-country, or those who are considering the idea of entering competitions to match themselves against other pilots.

The trim
s system allows the pilot to slow the Scorpio by approx. 3km/h for launch and landing and to increase cruise speed by approx. 7 km/h. Vmax. is 60+ km/h depending on the wing-loading.


Maximum speed of about 60+ km/h, depending of the pilot's/motor's weight.

The Scorpio is certified according to LTF applicable for ppg gliders in Germany and is registered at the DGAC in France.

The SCORPIO incorporates all of the latest technologies in paraglider development such as:  

 

 


  • Leading edge reinforced using nylon wires, giving perfect aerodynamic performance

 


  • "ring reefing" system and stabilizer brakes for exceptional maneuverability and tight turns
  • 3D-shaping and hybrid lines
  • positive/negative trimmer system and 2-phase speed system for wide speed range
  • High directional stability due to crossover line system and variable offset at the wing tips
  • LTF 23/05 German certification for paramotor wings

<<Scorpio is an amazing wing. Its inflation is incredibly easy: even without wind, wing inflates effortlessly over the head. In flight, what I like the most is the feeling of stability for a such dynamic wing! Even in strong conditions, Scorpio absorbs turbulence for the comfort of the pilot. In slalom, performances of Scorpio are interesting: small turning radius and high speed !>>
