Manufactured by Apco and exclusively made for Paratour, this PPG glider is designed for beginner foot launch pilots, as well as for easy and fun trike flying. To ensure a long lasting life for the Prisma, it is made from Gelvenor, a very resistant fabric (which exceeds most paraglider fabrics in strength), as well as heavy duty lines. 3 years/250 hr warranty
Its low price is also attractive : $2,195.00 US Size Certification Type 22 None 24 CEN/AFNOR Standard 27 CEN/AFNOR Standard 30 CEN/AFNOR Standard 33 None Performance V-min [km/h] 19 V-trim [km/h] 31 V-max [km/h] 39 Min Sink [m/s] >1.4 CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALSThis glider is made from an excellent tear resistant Ripstop Nylon fabric, which is P.U. coated to zero porosity and then siliconized to give a high resistance to the elements. Different fabrics are used for the top, bottom and ribs, due to their different functions. The lines are made of Superaramid covered with a polyester sheath for protection against UV, wear and abrasion. The bottom section of the brake lines is made of polyester because of its better mechanical properties. The D shackels that attach the lines to the risers are made of stainless steel. The Prima is one of the easiest gliders for trike take-off. It inflates very well, is safe and fun to fly, with nice turning capacities. Certification Stamp Most APCO gliders are DHV certified yet delivered with AFNOR certification sticker by default. Add this option if you need a DHV certification sticker (Gütsiegel), in order to meet insurance requirements in your area. DHV Certified Gliders are supplied only upon request.
