| Optimizing the amount of lines and using different diameters significantly reduces frontal resistance, subsequently increasing the wing's performance with no effect on the safety. Lines of different diameters are used which reduce frontal resistance. This increases the gliders performance with no loss of safety. Reinforcement on the leading edge make it easy to launch. The weight of the glider has been reduced by using more advanced materials which further improves its passive safety. |

| The canopy is manufactured from 'water repellent' Skytex S 9017, which has a high UV reflectivity and excellent resistance to abrasion. The lines are a very new material Liros PPSL, with a core of
Dyneema which offers minimal stretching and much higher durability.
The lines are secured in place on the maillons by plastic inserts. Video of Eric Dufour testing the Stardust |
