Paratour School
 

A leader in paramotor teaching, our school is recommended and approved by Transport Canada : # NAR 5852-U-91.

We will supervise you safely, until you achieve your Ultralight private license.  

Seasoned sky diving instructor, our chief instructor, Eric Dufour is a private pilot, USHGA (USA) #66069 paragliding instructor, AFI from Aero Sports Connection (USA) #B002948,  #10291955 Sport Pilot PSG (USA), Ultralight instructor #Q211948, COPA member (Canada) and USPPA (USA) training committee member and instructor examiner.

Eric Dufour is now consultant in the PPG business.
Dufour, has innovated in this new discipline with the simulator trainer, the winch take-off for first solo flight and the training bar.  Paratour's new teaching techniques make learning easier, safer and faster.  This is the reason why some of our techniques are now used in different schools across America and Europe.

The Paratour school uses the best equipment and its techniques are recognized all over North America for paramotor teaching.

A complete training at Paratour (Beginner & Advanced courses) includes:

Ground handling
Tow flights
 Simulator
Tandem flight in the XCitor
Theory
An average of 20 radio controlled solo flights
 

Since 1992, Paratour has soloed over 900 pilots coming from all over in Canada and also from United States and Europe.  Our qualified team of instructors is dedicated to, and passionate about this sport.  We look forward to sharing the sense of satisfaction and well being that you can achieve through flying safely a paramotor.

*$50.00 for each additional solo flight on the Mini PPCg.

Full training when a complete equipment is purchased at Paratour  
$1,000.00 (with the student's equipment)
This course is completed in about one week and includes an average of 20 flights. 

Full training when a equipment is not purchased from Paratour
$1,695.00 (with the student's equipment)
This course is completed in about one week and includes an average of 20 flights. 

Instructional tandem flight with the XCitor   $75.00
Reimbursable if training is taken at Paratour by the passenger within the 3 following months.
 

Training with the XCitor
$300 per day with the student's equipment. If the student has bought his XCitor from Paratour, this is $1,000 for the full training.
